Hull Arrives For New Steam Launch |

|
In early February, UNHS members went to Sault Ste Marie, Canada to retrieve the corporation's new hull. This hull is 23 x 8 and was originally fitted for a diesel and propeller. The Corporation plans to fit this hull out as a steam launch to carry the boat howitzer while the 33 foot Steam Picket Launch is still in the fundraising stage. |

Steamer Liberty to be Sold |

The original vessel used by the corporation's predecessor, the Western Gunboat Flotilla, is for sale. The steam launch Liberty which carried the flag in afloat reenacting from 1997 to present is for sale. The asking price is $4500, and she comes with out her trailer which is intended for use under Wabash. Interested parties should contact Robb Thomas at USN1861@aol.com |
