-Dahlgren also designed seven types of rifle that were in limited service. These ranged from a 30 Pdr to a 12 inch. -The 150 Pdr, known in Army service as the 200 Pdr, was withdrawn from service 1865 because they were more likely than other guns to blow their breeches. They were used aboard warships as pivot guns, and in the turrets of Monitors.
