This information is complied, where possible from the "Ordinance Instructions for the United States Navy, 1866."  This reference is used because it includes all wartime experience.  This tables may be updated from time to time from other sources.  Please see the notes on each table for more detailed information.

-Dahlgren also designed seven types of rifle that were in limited service.  These ranged from a 30 Pdr to a 12 inch.
-The 150 Pdr, known in Army service as the 200 Pdr, was withdrawn from service 1865 because they were more likely than other guns to blow their breeches.  They were used aboard warships as pivot guns, and in the turrets of Monitors.
